SUMMARY:Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Youth Forum
DESCRIPTION:Held under the theme of the 2026 High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF)\, the Forum will focus on transformative\, equitable\, innovative\, and coordinated actions to advance the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its Sustainable Development Goals. \nThe Forum will place special emphasis on the Sustainable Development Goals under in-depth review at the 2026 HLPF\, namely Goals 6 (Clean water and sanitation)\, 7 (Affordable and clean energy)\, 9 (Industry\, innovation and infrastructure)\, 11 (Sustainable cities and communities)\, and 17 (Partnerships for the goals). \nServing as a global platform\, the ECOSOC Youth Forum will bring together young people\, Member States\, the UN system\, and other partners to exchange ideas\, showcase innovative solutions\, and strengthen youth engagement in accelerating progress on the SDGs.
