SUMMARY:2026 ECOSOC Partnership Forum
DESCRIPTION:The 2026 ECOSOC Partnership Forum will take place on 27 January 2026 at the UN Headquarters in New York under the theme “Transformative\, equitable\, innovative and coordinated actions for the 2030 Agenda and its SDGs for a sustainable future for all”. SUMMARY:The 2023 Annual National SDGs Multi-stakeholders’ Conference
DESCRIPTION:The Inter-Agency Technical Working Committee (IATWC) on SDGs\, which was established in 2016 alongside the SDGs Stakeholder Engagement Framework of 2020\, drives Kenya’s multistakeholder engagement approach and implementation of SDGs in the country. This inclusive approach has been key in integrating SDGs into national and county policies and programmes\, aligning diverse perspectives and resources towards the achievement of sustainable development. \nThe SDGs Annual Multi stakeholder Conference is held every year since 2018 and seeks to bring together representatives from all the different sectors (National and County Government\, Members of Parliament\, Development Partners\, the UN\, Civil Society\, Private Sector\, Academia\, and Media) to facilitate peer to peer learning and exchange on SDGs processes in Kenya. In the spirit of inclusivity and leaving no one behind\, the IATWC has organized 23 County Capacity building on 13th December followed by the 2023 Annual National SDGs Multi-Stakeholders\nConference from 14-15th December 2023. \nThe upcoming multistakeholder conference will focus on the theme: SDGs at Midpoint: Accelerating SDGs Implementation Through BETA and Enhanced Collaborations and Partnerships. Driven by the urgency for accelerated progress\, the conference emerges as a decisive step forward. It will\, therefore\, not only provide a platform for dialogue but will also serve as a catalyst for tangible strategies for accelerating achievement of SDGs\, and launchpad for the 2024 National/Local Voluntary Report (NVR/LVR) process. \nThe overall objective of the Conference is to provide a platform for stakeholders involved in implementation of SDGs to exchange knowledge\, experiences\, and build solidarity in implementation and acceleration of SDGs.
