The 2023 Annual National SDGs Multi-stakeholders’ Conference took place on 14th and 15th December 2023 under the theme: “SDGs at Midpoint: Accelerating SDGs Implementation through BETA and Enhanced Collaborations and Partnerships”.
The objectives of the Annual National SDGs Multi-stakeholders’ Conference were:
- To share experiences, knowledge, best practices, lessons learned, and build solidarity in SDGs implementation,
- Discuss strategies to accelerate implementation of the SDGs as well as explore resource mobilization strategies,
- Discuss areas of partnerships and collaboration in the implementation of SDGs through an open dialogue among diverse stakeholders,
- Explore avenues for improving the availability of quality data for tracking and reporting on the implementation of SDGs,
- Disseminate the 2023 High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) and United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) key messages and feedback report, and
- Recognize and award outstanding stakeholders’ efforts in the implementation of SDGs.


Maureen Mumo and Arnold Gekonge shared a summary of the National SDGs Multi-stakeholders’ Youth Pre-conference held earlier at the University of Nairobi, outlining the challenges, opportunities and recommendations on youth involvement in SDGs implementation and review as shared by peers during the pre-conference.
